WDH Leads the Way in Recruitment and Retention

Physician recruitment has become one of the top priorities of hospitals. All over the country, healthcare providers are facing significant challenges in recruitment. Hospitals are constantly searching for talented physicians, nurses, and other clinical and non-clinical staff, which has become more difficult, expensive, and time-consuming, especially in the past 12 months.

Answering this need,  STA was recently invited to present to the Human Resource Department at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital to brand and market their  recruitment and retention program. A very creative presentation “The Anatomy of a Brand” was presented by our team of branding specialists (left to right):  Shannon Farrelly (New Mediologist),  Sean Tracey (Brandologist), Karen Donohue Fleer (HRologist), and Brenda Dziadzio (Graphicologist).  Not pictured:  Ariane Cameron (Client Care Coordinator).  Yes, that’s our team, all dressed up in the lab coats. “Preparing  ‘The Anatomy of a Brand’ presentation has been one of the most enjoyable presentations we have put together.”  Cameron stated.  Needless to say, we won the account over three other finalists from three different states (or we wouldn’t be blogging about it).  We would like to thank Christi Green (Manager of Recruitment and Retention), Erin Flanigan (VP Human Resources), and the entire HR team for giving us the opportunity. We look forward to working with Wentworth-Douglass to develop a creative and successful recruitment and retention strategy.

National Grand Bank Ranked Top 200 by US Banker!

National Grand Bank: “We Make Things Happen!”
With a motto like that, it’s no surprise that US Banker magazine ranked STA’s client, National Grand Bank of Marblehead, Massachusetts one of the “Top 200 Community Banks in the United States.”  In business for 178 years, National Grand Bank has had plenty of time to create a reliable business model that topped the other 7800 banks that were considered for the this distinction.  “Practice makes perfect,” comments NGB’s President, Jim Nye. “This prestigious honor validates that National Grand Bank has been doing business the right way for a long time—and we will continue these sound practices in the future. We’re honored to be ranked so highly among banks across the country that have assets up to 2 billion dollars.” Continue reading
