STA Films to Help the Homeless

Cross Roads House opened its doors in 1982 to assist homeless individuals and families. They have since become the largest emergency and transitional shelter in New Hampshire, serving eastern New Hampshire and southern Maine. They currently house up to 88 people on any given night, and their emergency shelter is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Sean Tracey Associates has produced and  donated a series of videos since 2005, which have  helped Cross Roads with their fundraising events to built their very much needed  new facility, which opened in 2009.    STA’s documentaries follow the inspirational stories of their residents’ lives and give the audience a chilling perspective of their reality.  The videos also offered an inside look at all the services that this wonderful nonprofit organization undertakes to help their residents move with dignity and purpose from homelessness to stable and decent housing.  Click here to view some of the videos.

Sean Tracey speaks at the MPRC Annual Conference

Sean led a Creativity Workshop at the Maine Public Relations Council Annual Conference on October 14th at the Portland Regency Hotel in the heart of the Old Port, Portland, ME.  Speakers were a dynamic group of industry experts, including Deirdre Breakenridge (author of 4 Financial Times books who spoke to this group directly after Sean).

The MPRC Annual Meeting attendees heard presentations on hot topics such as social media, thought leadership, public relations trends, creativity, web marketing and public relations trends.  Thanks to Nancy Fendler and the organizing committee, Sean had the great opportunity to conduct his CREATIVATE workshop with the entire group attending the convention.   Since the convention, many of the members of this fine group have shown an interest in creativity building workshops or brand strategy sessions with Sean at their own organizations.

Kudos

From Cameron Kane- Intern 2008

“I was just promoted at my current company (CSN Stores) to their online marketing team. They were extremely impressed with the knowledge I got from being an intern at STA so I figured I would pass the kudos and thanks again on to you! Isabel Cravens (another STA internship grad) is here at the same company and she is doing extremely well. She’s taken a leadership role for her group and excelling.” – Cameron Kane

A special congratulations to our recent interns, Cameron and Isabel, for landing jobs with the CSN stores online marketing team. ~STA

From our 2009 Intern Kelly Martin:

Its 9:00 A.M. and college students across the globe are arriving at their jobs, sitting at their desks and preparing for a day in the life of an intern. This day may consist of organizing files, making pots of coffee, or plugging meaningless numbers into countless excel spreadsheets. An intern is considered lucky to have the opportunity to meet clients, listen in on important meetings, and work–even if only briefly–with the founder, president, or CEO of their employer.

Well I must be the luckiest intern in the world. Continue reading
